Joyful Life Color Challenge

 

This fun card was created for a color challenge to use crumb cake, real red and old olive.  I thought the cute critter from the Joyful Life stamp set was the perfect thing!  DSP came from the Gingerbread & Peppermint collection and has been a favorite of mine!  I colored with blends and used the red rhinestones and sheer red ribbon for embellishments!

All a Glow Snowflake Lantern

This fun Snowflake Lantern was created after seeing a picture of one designed by Created the Ottaway.

Mine uses the Giving Gifts Dies

 Cut the Very Vanilla Cardstock 2 x 11", score on the 11" side at 4.5 & 6.5"

Cut 2nd piece of Very Vanilla 2.5 x 11, score on the 11" side at 4.5 & 6.5.  On 2.5" side, score at 1/4 & 2 1/4".  Use a tag topper to punch all 4 ends.  Using the dies and the Cut & Emboss machine, cut snowflake panels out of all 4 sides.  Cut 4 pieces of Vellum Cardstock 1 7/8 x 3/5".  Use glue dots to adhere vellum over snowflake windows.

Glue the 2 strips together like this.  Then glue the sides together,  The picture doesn't show the snowflakes cut out, but they are done before this!

I like to use Flickering electric candles.  They flicker to mimic real candlelight!

Pretty Pillowbox Dies

 

These adorable treat boxes were created by the Stampin' Up!© design team using the Pretty Pillowbox Dies.  Aren't they fun!  As you know, I love treat boxes so I highly recommend these!  They also feature the Gingerbread & Peppermint DSP, which is retiring soon!  I've used this paper a ton!  It makes adorable scarves for treat box characters!
