Hogs n’ Kisses

 Hogs n’ Kisses
This little piggy is ready for Valentine’s Day!

Use Flirty Flamingo Cardstock and cut him out using the Cut & Emboss Machine and the Mini Curvy Keepsake Box die.
Glue the box together using liquid Tombow and then fold the box together! Before you close him up, add 5 Hershey’s kisses to him. Close the box and you are ready to decorate!

His eyes are 3/4” circles out of white cardstock and the pupils are 1/2” circles cut out of black cardstock! I like my eyes to look a bit wild, so I glue them on in a slightly cross-eyed fashion and don’t line them up. I put a highlight in them using a white paint marker.

The snout is flirty flamingo cut from the smallest Layering ovals die. I sponged the edges with Melon Mambo. Ears are also Flirty Flamingo cardstock cut with the smallest triangle die in the Stitched triangle dies. Edges also sponged with Melon Mambo. His black nostrils are cut with a regular paper punch - the kind you’d use to put paper in a binder!

The final touch is a curly tail! I use a 1” circle punch and flirty flamingo paper, cut the circle into a spiral and glue on!

A fun project to let someone know you care about them!  Supplies listed below and links take you to my Stampin' Up shop

Fishing Tackle Box

 Fishing Tackle Box

My sweet husband and my boss both love to fish, so I hear a lot of fish stories!

This is a paper tackle box I made to give my boss a Bass Pro Shop Cabella’s gift card for Christmas.  The gift card will go in the movable top box.  The bottom will contain candy bait - gummy worms and Swedish fish!  The box closes with Velcro.  Finished box is 6” x 4” and is 3” tall.

I don’t know that I’ll make another one, I didn’t keep track of the measurements on this one, but it was a really fun one time project!

 Baby Yoda Curvy Treat Box

I designed another Baby Yoda treat box!  This one was made with the Curvy Keepsake Box thinlit die, but he could be made miniature with the still current and available Mini Curvy Keepsake die from Stampin’ Up!

The treat box was cut in Soft Seafoam, and glued together with Tombow.

The ears were cut out of a scrap of Soft Seafoam.  I ran them through the Cut & Emboss machine using the 3rd smallest die from the Stitched triangles dies.  The inner ear is Blushing Bride and cut with the 2nd smallest triangle die.

The eyes are made with Basic Black with a 3/4” circle punch.  I added a white highlight with a white paint marker!

Purple Minion Treat Box Stampin’ Up

Treat box created using the Little Treat Box dies from Stampin up!

Paper is Gorgeous grape, Basic Black and Whisper White.
Begin by cutting out a treat box in Gorgeous Grape.  Crease on the score lines and glue it together using liquid Tombow.

Cut a small black strip for eye goggle strap.  The eye is 1” circle punch black; 3/4” white circle punch; 1/2” black circle punch and a 3/4” gorgeous grape lid.

Mouth is 1” circle out of Gorgeous Grape cut ragged and fussy cut white teeth.

Pants are 1” black strip!

I was trying to figure out how to do wild purple hair and my hubby suggested curly ribbon!  Perfect!

I found this card while organizing my studio this morning.  It’s the first card I ever made at LeeAnn Greff’s.  I wanted to learn how to make cards and had done a search for Stampin’ Up in Minot, ND.  I had heard the name Stampin’ Up before.  I think 3 demonstrators came up, but LeeAnn had a calendar of classes listed, so I contacted her and joined one!

It was love at first stamp. I placed my $25 minimum order at the first class and went home with a catalog and created a wish list!  My next order was $400 and LeeAnn asked if I wanted to sign up as a demonstrator!  (Why can’t I find a customer like me???).   It’s been a lot of years of fun, friends and creativity!  It’s kept me sane to stamp when my life has been crazy!  I still love it!  I’m so grateful for my stamping friends and love that I still am in contact with many of them!  They inspire me in many, many ways!

Baby Yoda Treat Box

Tonight I designed this Baby Yoda treat box!  I have a daughter who is obsessed with Baby Yoda and wanted to see if I could make one!  My understanding is that Baby Yoda loves frogs, so gummy frogs would make a fabulous treat!

I made 2 different boxes, one using the Little Treat box die and the other using 1/2 of a window box die in Basic Gray.  I textured the window box die with a brick embossing folder!

Baby Yoda is the 2nd smallest circle in the Stitched Shapes Framelits, the paper is Soft Sea Foam.

His ears are Soft Sea Foam paper, cut with the 3rd smallest Stitched triangle die.  The ear inside is the 2nd smallest stitched triangle cut from Blushing bride.

Eyes are 1/2” basic black with a white paint marker’s highlight.

His collar is crumb cake, scored every 1/8” and cut free hand!

Want to try him?  Do or do not, there is no try!

Penguin Treat Box Warms Hearts

 Darling Penguin Treat Boxes

Inspired by Sandra Hernandez at Ink Stamp Luv

Using the Little Treat Box dies and a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine, cut out a Pacific Point treat box and assemble using Tombow glue.   It helps to put the size H clear block inside the box to help hold its shape while you glue the box together and add the penguin.

Using the Layering Ovals Dies, cut out the smallest non scalloped die in Daffodil Delight.  The end 1/3s will be the penguins’ feet.

Cut the white tummy using the 2nd smallest oval die and run it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine using the embossing folder of your choice.  I used the Seabed 3D embossing folder.

The penguin body is basic black paper and 4th smallest oval.

Eyes are 1/2” whisper white circles with pupils punched with a regular hand held hole punch.

Beak is a Daffodil Delight heart cut out using a small heart punch or die!

Assemble penguin on the treat box as pictured.  Add self adhesive snowflake sequins.  This little treat box fits a snack size Reese’s tree perfectly.  Loop ribbon through the opening at the top!
